The usual sauna oven stones include impurities which are released to the sauna air under the influence of the glowing resistor. The stone gets lighter in weight and it disintegrates, it looses its heat conductivity and sand will fall down on the floor. The time for heating-up the sauna gets longer. The stones must be replaced! This is why it is increasingly popular to equip company saunas with the Kerkes Sauna Oven Stones. The ceramic oven stones which are made carefully guarantee unique sauna bath. Tetra Shaped Stones
There are two sizes of tetra shaped oven stones – large and small. The tetra shaped stones are used as topside stones in all sauna ovens. The fire or the air flow in the sauna oven is regulated by the thickness of the surface stone layer. The surface construction of the tetra shaped stone guarantees intense heat.

Ball Shaped Stones
The ball shaped stones are used in wood heating based sauna ovens and in the ovens which have a deep cavity for stones. The ball shaped stones improve the convection of air in the oven. The contact area with the red glowing metal / the heating resistor is small and therefore the heat flows better in the sauna oven. The diameter of the ball shaped stones is approximately 50 mm, 60 mm, 80 mm or 95 mm.

The Interspace Resistor Stones
The interspace stones are used between the resistors in electric sauna ovens to support the resistors. The shape of the stones prevents their too tight placing. The thickness of the interspace resistor stone depends on the gap of the resistor. The diameter of the intermediate stones is approximately 25 mm, 35 mm, 40 mm or 50 mm.
