Supersil is suitable for filling joints in ceramics, marble and similar natural stones, glass, enamel, hard PVC, stainless steel, etc. Highly porous surfaces and materials with poor adhesion must be pre-primed using silicone primer.

Areas of application: For filling ceramic tile joints and deformation joints at the wall-floor joint, around sanitary ware and equipment, in joints between door and window panels, etc. Supersil does not emit oil or change the color of the tiles, and is therefore particularly suitable for use on natural stones such as marble and the like. Supersil withstands constant water loads, but is not suitable for use in aquariums and swimming pools. mira supersil is not paintable. Supersil contains fungicides that have an antibacterial and anti-mold effect. Supersil also tolerates the most common detergents and UV radiation. Supersil is acid-free and is also suitable for attaching mirrors.

Substrate preparation: The substrate must be dry and free of dust, grease, etc. We recommend using tape to form the joints, which is removed immediately after the joint.

Use: Use a hand or pneumatic gun when working with Supersil. Press the mass into the joint and finish with a grout dipped in soapy water. Do not use brine. Supersil drying ratio: 1-2 mm of joint per day at 23 ° C at 50% RH. In closed rooms or in humidity below 40%, the drying time is significantly extended. Prolonged drying time can lead to poorer adhesion and the surface. Supersil best tolerates deformation in joints 4-25 mm. The depth of the joint could be about half the width, between 5-10 mm. After drying, the supersil can withstand temperatures from -40 to + 120 ° C

DRYING TIME 23 ° C Superficially dry after 10-20 minutes

RECOMMENDED OPERATING TEMPERATURE 5-40 ° C
