Hot tub cover of makrolon is 6 mm thick, hard but very light plastic cover, which has a rubber seal on the edge. It is possible to attach the cover to the cabinet surrounding the hot tub. Cover of makrolon will shorten the heating time and can take the weight of approx. 30 cm of snow. The cover will not however protect against very heavy snow nor any other weights on the cover! The cover has slightly insulating effect.
