Harvia’s HWF is a water filter solution for steam generators and electric heaters which will make the products last longer and makes them easier to maintain. Harvia HWF guarantees filtered and softened purified water. IT removes almost all calcium and magnesium from the water which is the reason for the bad smells of the sauna and visible stains on the heater’s surface.

Water filter solution is recommended for water softening in the use of steam generators and electric heaters at places where water is hard because of its high mineral content. In this kind of environment, un-filtered water can cause several problems. For example in hard un-filtered water used in steam generators can cause calcification in the water tank and in resistors which shortens the life-time of the components. Water filter solutions come in two sizes size M for home use and size XL for commercial use.
